A Message From our President
Welcome to the Omega Chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi. My name is Roman Suttles, and I have the honor of serving as our president this year. Since our founding in 2008, Auburn BYX has set out to make an alternative to the traditional fraternal lifestyle accessible to all students. We have been on an exciting growth trajectory that has allowed us to move into a house on the corner of new row in the fall of 2020, prompting new opportunities in our expansion. I can proudly say that we are living out our purpose of establishing brotherhood and unity among college men based upon the common bond of Jesus Christ.

The idea of a Christian fraternity may seem paradoxical, but I am a firm believer that fraternities are one of the best things college has to offer for a young man. It is difficult to leave high school and have to establish your own worldview, new friendships, and think about who it is you want to become. A fraternity provides an excellent avenue for that life transition to take place alongside brothers who genuinely care about you. It only makes sense for Christian men to do this together. Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Through small groups, a constructive pledgeship process, retreats, philanthropy, campus involvement, parties, mixers, and organic brotherhood, we sharpen one another and share the love of Jesus Christ with our Auburn community.

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!”
-Psalm 133:1
